This course is designed for anybody working with or in the vicinity of hazardous materials/substances.
Objectives
On completion of this course participants will be able to:-
- Identify hazardous materials/substances by the labelling on containers, drums & tanks, etc.
- Understand the dangers of hazardous materials/substances
- Be aware of what action to take in the event of spillage, rupture or release of hazardous materials/substances
- Realise how & why atmospheres become dangerous.
